Gratitude and Collaboration!

Thank you for being with us on July 26 and 27.

At the beginning of this year, our team at the Collaborative to Advance Health Services took on the high-speed goal of creating the Syndemic Solutions Summit. Watching the public health workforce truly come together over the day-and-a-half and getting real time feedback validated all our efforts.

The Summit created a neutral space for experts working in individual health verticals met for the first time. Government officials, advocates, and membes of the community met on the same plane and heard each other's ideas. In more ways than our team imagined, there were shared accomplishments, challenges, and learnings, which will lead to more solutions!

We believe this is just the beginning and are already working on more ways to collaborate.

Post-Summit Shareables

To keep the syndemic solutions momentum going, our small and mighty team is already working on several post-Summit shareables for you.

In the next few weeks, you will receive:

  1. Notes from select sessions
  2. Recordings from select sessions
  3. Event photos from our staff photographers
  4. One of our live-drawn session infographics by Rosi Greenburg
  5. An article covering the Summit by our staff reporter

These shareables are a part of many more resources we are creating and curating for the upcoming Syndemic Solutions website that will be launched later this year.

Summit Evaluation

We heard all the great feedback during the Summit. Now we need to document it for our grants whose funding made the Summit possible.

Please help us by completing this Summit Evaluation.

Summit Media Coverage

In case you missed it, the Syndemic Solutions Summit was covered by Kansas City local NBC affiliate. They spoke with our keynote speaker, Dr. Jonathan Mermin, and one of our presenters, Linda Scruggs.
