Dear PTTC Teams;
We have gotten some requests for resources and guidance for the prevention field on how to do their work amidst the current disruptions that we are all experiencing. In order to protect public health and safety, prevention organizations and professionals
are engaged in the social distancing practices recommended by U.S. CDC.
The cancellations of events in states and communities is reducing the ability of prevention professionals to share information and engage members of the community – key actions for building prevention capacity.
We are hearing from the field that they need guidance on how they can work safely in this uncertain time to keep the prevention drive strong while many of the dependable community-building strategies are not accessible to us. As we know this is a problem
everyone is facing across the country, we thought that we should reach out to the PTTC Network to gather resources (crowdsource this request).
I would like to ask you to please add reputable resources to this google sheet by COB Thurs. 3/19/20.
Thank you for your cooperation.
