Is there any PTTC interested in participating in a meeting that SAMHSA is sponsoring on faith-based issues for the field. The meeting they are developing is being organized for August 1st.

Please let me know if there is any interest in participating asap or by tomorrow morning.

Here’s some more background from the original email.
“OCMO to bring together a meeting to discuss how seminary programs incorporate mental health into the curriculum for students.  Through the meeting, we hope to learn more about these programs are addressing the mental health and wellbeing of these future leaders, including how that relates to burnout for religious staff and reducing stigma about mental illness in these spaces.”

Of course there is a role for prevention in this space.
